Hooiberg 24 Hours

**Hooiberg 24 Hours** returns to Aruba on December 7 and 8 for one of the island's most unique endurance challenges. Participants take on the famous Hooiberg stairs, attempting to complete 25, 50 or even 74 climbs. Those who reach 74 climbs will have climbed the equivalent height of Mount Everest: 8,848 meters. Organized by Marines Base Savaneta, the event brings together sports, perseverance and community. Participants can choose between three challenges: 25 climbs within 7 hours, 50 climbs within 15 hours, or the full 74 climbs within 24 hours. Hooiberg 24 Hours is open beyond the military community, with Arubans invited to take part and everyone welcome to come support the participants. Expect a lively atmosphere around Hooiberg throughout the event, with music, food, drinks and activities for visitors.
